This is the agreed Programme for the Irish Governmetn for 2007 to 2012.   Areas of particular importance include:

• rolling out infrastructure nationwide,
• combating climate change, and
• delivering a fully modern, patient-centred health service.

• Making It Easier for Older People to Stay in Their Own Homes

At page 35 the Programme deals with Health policy.  In particular Nursing Homes are considered on page 40.
